We need to be reminded over and over with visual images, dive into a pool of reviews and testimonials, ask friends and family, read blogs, and compare pricing before making a decision.

Unlike so much of marketing that has changed with the times, there is one concept that has remained consistent. The rule of seven.

One of the oldest, yet still very relevant concepts in marketing, the rule of seven says that a consumer needs to hear or see a message at least seven times before they will buy a product or service.

Simply put, repetition or remarketing, is key to success.

One of the most effective ways to remarket in today’s digital world is through Google Adwords. Remarketing with Adwords allows you to show ads to people who have visited your website or used your mobile app before.

In other words, once someone visits your website and goes elsewhere on Google or Google partner websites, your ads will continually show to your potential buyers.

Google Adwords is an extremely effective method for remarketing, but there are other ways as well. Email marketing, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms are great ways to advertise and continually target your desired audience.
