This week, we get to know one of our marketing account managers, Caitlin Snyder. From her spirit animal and biggest fears to something you’d never guess about her – Caitlin shares it all. Keep reading for the deets.
Where are you from & where did you go to college?
I’m originally from Cincinnati, OH. I moved to Indiana when I went to Indiana University in 2009, and have never left.
What drew you to marketing and how did you choose that as your career path?
Since I was a little girl, I wanted my life to be about telling stories. Stories invite others to imagine, to dream, to make a difference, and to make a change. I’m captivated by the way words inspire people. I love how marketing enables me to tell stories, incorporate data, think creatively, and influence people.
What’s something that no one would ever guess about you?
From 1997 to 2001, my family lived overseas in Japan!
What’s your spirit animal and why?
Some sort of dog is my spirit animal. I’m pretty loyal, love to have a good time, but am also happy napping
If you had a warning label, what would yours be?
Probably Allergic to That.
Who would play you in a movie about your life?
I feel like a movie about my life wouldn’t really be worth making – I’m pretty boring, but if someone had to play me, it would probably be Brittany Snow.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
I’m not a big karaoke singer – that job belongs to Sierra on the ImageBloom team, but my go-to party songs are “Shut Up and Dance With Me” by Walk the Moon or “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz. (Yes, I’m a sorority girl who went to college in the early 2010s!)
What is your most-used emoji?
Either of the laughing emojis or the red heart. I laugh A LOT! Especially via text.
What’s your biggest fear?
I am very, very afraid of having bed bugs. I’m so afraid that all the mattresses in my home have mattress covers on them because I spent too many nights restless, paranoid that bugs were biting me. I’m also afraid of having cancer, but not realizing it until it’s too late to do anything about it.
What are your long-term goals?
Professionally, I want to be a life-long learner. I desire to become a better writer and a more captivating marketer.
Personally, I hope to grow in the areas of generosity, listening, and serving others.
