1. Can you introduce yourself and share a fun fact we might not know about you?
Hi, I am Ryan Speer. I’m the Lead Web Developer here at ImageBloom. Something that you might not know about me is that I am an artist, musician, and in general a big weirdo (everyone probably already knows that).
2. What’s your go-to work playlist or favorite motivational song that gets you in the zone?
This is tough… One of my favorite bands of all time is Blur, and their song “Song 2” is pretty hype, despite the fact it’s far from their best song. I mean… the chorus is literally “woohoo!”.
3. If you could redesign any website in the world, which one would it be and why?
My own, because no one ever has time to work on their own website.

Yes, a chihuahua/terrier mix named Sgt. Pepper

7. If your web career were a movie or TV show, what would it be called, and who would play you?
“Wordpressed” starring that dude who played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones but he’ll need to shave his head bald and get fat for the part.
8. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Flying… except wait that would be terrifying. Getting so high up in the sky and never being quite sure if you’re suddenly going to lose the ability and start falling. Nah, pass.
9. What’s your go-to snack or beverage while working on a challenging web design project?
Coffee and/or seltzer
10. What is your biggest pet peeve?
When you’re out for a run on the causeway and the sidewalk is very narrow and there’s a group of ladies walking towards you shoulder-to-shoulder and blocking the entire sidewalk and they’re just staring right at you and getting closer and closer but they’re still walking shoulder-to-shoulder without a care in the world until you’re standing right in front of each other staring directly into each other’s eyes and – all of the sudden – it dawns on them that, yes, they are composed of physical matter and need to move over ever so slightly unless – I DUNNO – they were expecting you to jump over the edge of the bridge and plummet 40 feet into the water or something. Mainly that.
11. If you had to describe your web design process using movie titles, what titles would you choose for the different stages?
“Dazed & Confused”, “2 Fast 2 Furious”, “They Live”
12. What do you like to do on weekends?
In a rare instance that I get to decide and can do anything that I want to do….. NOTHING.
